Uninstall existing Adobe app (If needed)

If you already have Adobe apps installed:

1. Download and run Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool
2. A full cleanup is recommended. Nonetheless, you can also select apps to remove
3. Restart your PC once the cleaning is complete.

1) Installing Adobe Creative Cloud

Step 1:

Download Adobe Creative Cloud from Adobe’s Official website.

Step 2:

Run the installer as an administrator and create/sign in to an Adobe account

Step 3:

Do not install Adobe Genuine Service (AGS). Make sure to leave it untick.

Step 4:

Once installed, launch Creative Cloud and go to Menu > File > Preferences.

Step 5:

Under General, disable all 3 settings:

• Launch Creative Cloud at Login
• Run Creative Cloud in the background after closing
• Automatically keep Creative Cloud up to date

2) Patching Creative Cloud with GenP

Step 1:

Download and extract GenP (Requires 7zip or similar to extract the contents.)

• Download GenP from Github

Step 2:

Launch GenP and go to Options tab. Ensure all three are check.

• Always search for ACC
• Enable MD5 Checksum
• Search for files only in Adobe/Acrobat folders

Step 3:

Go back to Main tab and click Search.

Step 4:

Tick only Creative Cloud files and click Patch. Once done, you can quit GenP.

3) Downloading apps from Creative Cloud

Step 1:

Re-launch Creative Cloud, go to Apps and install everything that you want. Once everything you required are installed, quit Creative Cloud.

4) Patching Adobe apps with GenP

Step 1:

Re-launch GenP and click Search.

Step 2:

Uncheck Creative Cloud as you have already done that already. From here, you may uncheck for any programs you don’t want to patch.

Step 2:

Click Patch and you are done!

5) Block Adobe Servers (Recommended)

To reduce the risk of Adobe detecting the patch, follow either Automated or Manual solution:

Automated solution:

Launch GenP and click Pop-up. This will block all those unauthorised pop-ups.

Manual solution:

Step 1:

Open your Window’s hosts file located at:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Step 2:

Copy the whole text from https://a.dove.isdumb.one/list.txt and paste them into a new blank line on your hosts file.

How to keep my Adobe app updated with the latest version?

All you need to do is update the said app, and then run GenP again as usual. However, the ideal solution is to uninstall current version, and install a newer version of the app.
